GATE 2016 Syllabus and Pattern – Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is the full form of GATE examination. This year GATE examination is scheduled from 30th of January to 7th of February 2016. Pattern of the GATE 2016 as per negative marking:-

  • For one marks objective question negative marking is .33 %.
  • For subjective question marking is .33%

Paper pattern of GATE 2016 is as follows:-

  • Section A :- It is all about the general English and the engineering mathematics.
  • Section B :- This section is all about the branch of the candidate in which he / she is appearing for the examination.

This is all about the GATE 2016 Pattern and if you are appearing for the examination then you can stuck with it to get the maximum benefit. Both of these 2 sections i.e. A and B carry 25 and 75 marks respectively. So all candidates have to attempt the question from both section but it is not mandatory.
